Cynthia Haynes-Williams is the Prospect Strategy and Research Manager at Chalkbeat. With over 20 years in fundraising, her focus has been managing prospect development and research programs implementing industry best practices and meeting organizational needs. She has had the opportunity to work at the Denver Rescue Mission, Mile High United Way, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, National Jewish Health, Colorado School of Mines and Tennyson Center. Currently, Cynthia serves as a member of Apra’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, Justice and Access Committee (DEIBJA). In the past, she served as Membership Director, Treasurer and Mentor for Apra Rocky Mountains chapter. Apra is an international organization for people interested in the field of prospect development and prospect research. Previously, Cynthia worked for the Denver Public Library and Dayton Memorial Library at Regis University, where she developed a broad range of library and management responsibilities. A native Coloradan, Cynthia is a graduate of Regis University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business management and a minor in psychology.
