Chicago is planning to involve educators in a multi-year initiative to develop home-grown curriculum materials for the first time.
But we just can’t wait to hear from the people responsible for teaching Chicago students about their curriculum experiences.
Who’s deciding what curriculum teachers follow? What training are the teachers getting? Are the programs in use meeting local students’ needs? What should city education officials take into account over the next several years of curriculum customization?
Please take a few moments to share your thoughts with us. Your answers will help us understand what we can’t learn from citywide data — what’s really going on inside of schools. Thank you!
