On February 28th, the City College School of Education will host its Spring 2018 Graduate Open House. Come meet and talk with deans, program faculty, current graduate students, representatives from admissions, financial aid and a host of other campus affiliate partners to learn more about our graduate programs and supports as you plan for a career in education/educational leadership! Admissions information sessions will be held every 30 minutes during the event to guide you through the application process. The School of Education offers master's degrees, advanced certificates , extensions and non-degree certificates in all terms including summer. Join us for an evening of true stories from Memphis educators and students. Chalkbeat Tennessee is hosting a storytelling event under the theme "Natural Consequences" alongside Spillit.
We'll explore how natural and unnatural, just and unjust consequences to actions impact our lives and experiences. Storytellers will deliver personal stories, and many of them will touch on how, in diverse ways, school discipline has impacted their lives. Don't miss our latest investigation into school discipline practices here.Tickets are 10 dollars and available at the door the evening of the show.
