CSE: Back to School Prayer Breakfast, Memphis
Campaign for School Equity (CSE) will host a Back To School Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, August 2 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the National Civil Rights Museum. Dr. Sharon Griffin, superintendent of the state-run Achievement School District, and Dr. Joris Ray, assistant superintendent, and Lori Philips, director of family and community engagement, of Shelby County Schools, are featured speakers at the event, which is designed to give local clergy and other community leaders and education advocates an opportunity to hear directly from school leaders about their goals, priorities, and needs for the upcoming academic year.
