Presented By: Megan Davis-Hitchens Ohlssen Multi-Tierd Systems of Support (MTSS) is an evidence-based model that uses data-based decision-making to integrate academic and behavioral instruction/intervention. It goes beyond RTI in that it encompasses the role of adults and systems within the school building. Student data is not just used to drive student interventions, but also adult support, ongoing professional development, leadership needs, and more. This session will review key components of MTSS, explore the use of student data to drive staff development, and provide participants with opportunities to practice data-based decision making beyond the RTI framework.
