Fall Summit: Access, Justice, Visibility
Haben Girma, the first deafblind graduate of Harvard Law School and advocate for people with disabilities, will demonstrate the power and benefits of prioritizing accessibility. In addition, Dr. Rosa Perez-Isiah will highlight effective methods for tapping into the cultural capital of Latino students and families to strengthen academic identity and promote student success. We'll also hear from a Practitioner Panel of charter school teachers, ELL leads, special education leads, and deans on how they ensure access, justice, and visibility in their classrooms and school communities.
