Haben Girma, the first deafblind graduate of Harvard Law School and advocate for people with disabilities, will demonstrate the power and benefits of prioritizing accessibility. In addition, Dr. Rosa Perez-Isiah will highlight effective methods for tapping into the cultural capital of Latino students and families to strengthen academic identity and promote student success. We'll also hear from a Practitioner Panel of charter school teachers, ELL leads, special education leads, and deans on how they ensure access, justice, and visibility in their classrooms and school communities.
