Free screening of “Marshall” about legendary Supreme Court Justice
Come discover the untold and inspiring early story of Thurgood Marshall at a special screening of the soon-to-be released courtroom thriller Marshall.
You probably know Marshall from his groundbreaking work prosecuting Brown vs. Board of Education and as the first African American Supreme Court Justice.  Now come experience the searing story of his early work as a young lawyer, the foundational experiences that informed his professional and political choices, and how he got his legendary swagger.
 
YVote and the JCC's Center for Civic Responsibility are pleased to host a free screening on Monday, Oct 9 from 2:30-5p.m. at JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave as part of a goal to repurpose Columbus Day to be a day of celebrating activists and changemakers.
