Guided Inquiry Design Institute
Do you want to learn how to design inquiry-based experiences for deeper learning? The Guided Inquiry Design® Institute is an intense, three-full-day program led by author and international expert on inquiry-based learning. Guided Inquiry is a research based instructional framework for inquiry learning K-12. This institute is a great way to become grounded in the concepts to implement in your school/classroom. The three-day program explores the research that backs the design, provides an example of a complete unit so participants can learn about each phase, embedded digital and inquiry tools, and best practices to help teams develop thoughtful unit plans of their own creation. Workshop leader provides feedback, coaching, and a revision process to set each team up for successful implementation. Ideal participants are full teams of teachers including their school librarian. Each team is encouraged to bring up to 4 team members in total to the session. The $750.00 seminar fee includes a comprehensive notebook, digital tools for implementation, the Guided Inquiry Design book as well as breakfast, and lunch each day. Register here:
