Want to help select the next great entrepreneurial idea in Memphis? Want to help students reach their dreams? Join us on Thursday, December 6th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm to hear 35 amazing high school students pitch their entrepreneurial ideas to the community. Audience members will help in selecting thousands of dollars in additional funds for the student ideas. All proceeds from tickets will go to support future ideas launched by high school students. LITE has been able to grow from 3 ideas a year to 75 ideas a year due to support from the community. Last year, individual donations alone supported 66 of our high school entrepreneurs and their ventures. Imagine how many students we could reach in 2019 with continued community support.

Join us for an evening of true stories from Memphis educators and students. Chalkbeat Tennessee is hosting a storytelling event under the theme "Natural Consequences" alongside Spillit.
We'll explore how natural and unnatural, just and unjust consequences to actions impact our lives and experiences. Storytellers will deliver personal stories, and many of them will touch on how, in diverse ways, school discipline has impacted their lives. Don't miss our latest investigation into school discipline practices here.Tickets are 10 dollars and available at the door the evening of the show. The event will be held Feb. 2 at Epicenter, 902 Cooper Street, Memphis, TN. A special thanks to Knowledge Tree for its sponsorship of this event.
