Over the past year, the Memphis Regional Strategy Team has hosted meetings engaging over 100 teachers, parents, students and community leaders about the changes they want to achieve for Memphis students. Now the group will vote on the top three issues to focus their efforts in a public agenda. From the organizer: "Like a presidential caucus, imagine a room packed full of teachers, parents, students and community members who care about education, voting for the educational issues most widely and deeply felt across the house meetings. Folks will emerge from this issue assembly as a stronger collective committed to working together, with action teams assembled to move forward!"
