The Military and Protective Services Career Exploration Workshop (MAPS) is an evening event in which students and their families can explore careers in Military and Protective Services. The purpose of this event is to encourage and inspire students and parents to consider Military and Protective Services as an achievable pathway to pursue after high school. This event will provide opportunities for students and families to directly communicate with members of various branches of the military in regard to career opportunities including enlistment, military academies, national guard and ROTC (all great ways to pay for college!). The workshop will also lay out career pathways for emergency services, firefighting and law enforcement. Register here! https://goo.gl/forms/vuKXfr39NSNxFjlR2

Join us for an evening of true stories from Memphis educators and students. Chalkbeat Tennessee is hosting a storytelling event under the theme "Natural Consequences" alongside Spillit.
We'll explore how natural and unnatural, just and unjust consequences to actions impact our lives and experiences. Storytellers will deliver personal stories, and many of them will touch on how, in diverse ways, school discipline has impacted their lives. Don't miss our latest investigation into school discipline practices here.Tickets are 10 dollars and available at the door the evening of the show. The event will be held Feb. 2 at Epicenter, 902 Cooper Street, Memphis, TN. A special thanks to Knowledge Tree for its sponsorship of this event.
