The Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (RBERN) at Fordham University will conduct a Professional Development opportunity for high schools. ENL Counselors, Parent Coordinators & Teachers will learn how to create a FAFSA Event in their school to include information for English Language Learners and their families by pooling community-based resources (in various languages) and utilizing the College Goal New York platform to register students to meet with In-depth FAFSA Experts for line-by-line assistance with Federal Student Aid and the New York State Tuition Assistance Program. Participants will also learn about the Seal of Biliteracy for ELL students .

Join us for an evening of true stories from Memphis educators and students. Chalkbeat Tennessee is hosting a storytelling event under the theme "Natural Consequences" alongside Spillit.
We'll explore how natural and unnatural, just and unjust consequences to actions impact our lives and experiences. Storytellers will deliver personal stories, and many of them will touch on how, in diverse ways, school discipline has impacted their lives. Don't miss our latest investigation into school discipline practices here.Tickets are 10 dollars and available at the door the evening of the show.
