The Nashville Public Education Foundation will honor distinguished alumni at its 14th annual Public Schools Hall of Fame luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m. The annual event, which will be held at the Omni Nashville Hotel, raises funds to strengthen the city’s public schools and inspires continued progress through the community leaders it honors. Join us for an evening of true stories from Memphis educators and students. Chalkbeat Tennessee is hosting a storytelling event under the theme "Natural Consequences" alongside Spillit.
We'll explore how natural and unnatural, just and unjust consequences to actions impact our lives and experiences. Storytellers will deliver personal stories, and many of them will touch on how, in diverse ways, school discipline has impacted their lives.
