On May 16, East Harlem Scholars Academies will be hosting a showcase and discussion on Restorative Practices in schools. We are committed to Restorative Practices, a model of building school and classroom culture around student engagement, reflection, and inclusion rather than exclusion and punishment. We're proud of the work we're doing and eager to share our progress and challenges and learn from colleagues in the field. All teachers, leaders, and advocates interested in Restorative Practices are encouraged to participate. RSVP at bit.ly/May16RestorativePractice Learn more about our schools at http://www.eastharlemscholars.org and our community-based parent organization East Harlem Tutorial Program at ehtp.org.
