Thursday, September 13, 2018, Hattiloo will host a free panel discussion about the school to prison pipeline. Doors open at 5:30p. Panel starts at 6p. The panelists are Rob Brown, fellow with the collective. Caitlin Robinson, a youth organizer with B.B. change. And Demetria Frank, Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where she teaches courses in Advocacy, Federal Courts and Mass Incarceration. After the panel discussion, attendees will be able to preview 'Pipeline' for just $10.

Join us for an evening of true stories from Memphis educators and students. Chalkbeat Tennessee is hosting a storytelling event under the theme "Natural Consequences" alongside Spillit.
We'll explore how natural and unnatural, just and unjust consequences to actions impact our lives and experiences. Storytellers will deliver personal stories, and many of them will touch on how, in diverse ways, school discipline has impacted their lives.
