Succeeding in New York City: Students of Color in Urban Education, A YEP-NYC Panel

Join YEP-NYC and our panel of academics and practitioners at the New School for a discussion regarding students of color in the New York City education system and at large. The discussion will be centered around a September 2013 study titled, Succeeding in the City: A Report from the New York City and Latino Male High School Achievement Study. During the one-hour discussion, panelists will talk about various government initiatives, research, programs and resources available to educators working with diverse student populations. Panelists will also share their own personal experiences and recommendations for how educators can best support their students and help them carve out a path towards academic success.
