Tennessee Educational Equity Coalition will host a webinar to help advocates understand new school designations from the Tennessee Department of Education. The featured presenter is Ginnae Harley, executive director of the state's Office of School Improvement. The webinar will go into the new Reward and Priority Schools, as well as other designations, and what they will mean for students, schools, and communities. Another topic is ways for advocates to get involved in school improvement planning in their community.

Join us for an evening of true stories from Memphis educators and students. Chalkbeat Tennessee is hosting a storytelling event under the theme "Natural Consequences" alongside Spillit.
We'll explore how natural and unnatural, just and unjust consequences to actions impact our lives and experiences. Storytellers will deliver personal stories, and many of them will touch on how, in diverse ways, school discipline has impacted their lives.
