Survey: What would you ask Lori Lightfoot and Toni Preckwinkle about Chicago schools?

Chicago’s field of 14 mayoral candidates now has winnowed down to two: former federal prosecutor Lori Lightfoot and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle. So far, each candidate has voiced similar responses to prevailing questions about school board selection (they both support an elected school board) and charters (each supports a freeze on new applications).

But there are deeper questions about schools that we’d like ask, and we’d like your help. What questions do you have for the mayoral candidates about schools policy? Please let us know in this brief online survey. Your answers could be used to inform our interviews with the candidates.
