Tennessee’s TNReady testing troubles, as told in your gifs and memes

Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying.

As news of the latest online testing troubles surfaced throughout Tennessee, parents, educators, and students expressed their frustrations about the overwhelming impact on schools — but also found comic relief.

On the first day of testing April 16 when students had trouble logging into the state’s online system, people couldn’t help but have déjà vu harkening back to Tennessee’s testing flop in 2016.

As other issues piled up, including a reported cyberattack and internet cable that was cut by a dump truck, others became more skeptical of the reasons cited by the Tennessee Department of Education.
