Rise & Shine: Presidential contender coming to a Memphis school Sunday
Democratic presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren is planning on making a campaign stop at Douglass High School in Memphis. The school is in Shelby County Schools' prized Innovation Zone for improving low-performing schools and recently earned its way off the state's list of schools testing in the bottom 5 percent. Douglass High was also a stop on Tennessee Education Commissioner Penny Schwinn's first trip to Memphis since Gov. Bill Lee appointed her in January.
